Frequently asked questions

The venue is available to hire for 3 hour sessions.

• Saturdays and Sundays  08:30-11.30, 11:30-14:30, 14:30-17:30 and 17:30-20:30.
• Weekdays  at 17:30 - 20.30

Availability can be seen on the calendar once you click on book now. If you cannot see a time slot it is already booked.

Each session is 3 hours in total including set up and clean up.

Multiple sessions can be booked at a cost of $95 per session

An information pack will be emailed to you by one of our volunteers after booking.

HOTMAIL USERS - please check your junk mail and add our email address to your contact list as our emails are often filtered out.

Conditions of Venue Hire

1. The Hirer must pay the venue hire fees prior to the party. This is important as it ensures you are covered by the City of Vincent's 'Casual Hirers' insurance. 
2. The Hirer must leave the venue in a clean and tidy condition, with all equipment and toys stored as found. The kitchen and toilet should both have the bins emptied, and dishes in the kitchen washed and placed back into the cupboards. The floors should be swept and, if needed, mopped.
3. Damage to any Earlybirds Playgroup property must be paid for by any person/s who wilfully and negligently caused such damage. 
4. Responsibility for dependent children and guests must be borne by the Hirer.
5. There is strictly NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL, NO NUTS or FOOD CONTAINING NUTS permitted in any part of the venue at any time.
6. Earlybirds Playgroup accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of the Hirer or any third party. All personal belongings must be removed on the day of booking.
7. The Hirer indemnifies and releases Earlybirds Playgroup from:
   1. Any accident, damage, loss or injury to any person or property arising from the use of the Earlybirds Playgroup Centre;
   2. Any loss, damage or costs suffered by Earlybirds Playgroup from any default or breach of this Agreement by the Hirer.

   Cancellation Policy

   If you need to cancel your party booking you must let us know by email at least 4 weeks before the event is to take place. Any requests received after this will not be refunded. Please email: earlybirdsplaygroup.events@gmail.com with your booking number and details.

There is a key pad on the door handle - entry code is located on Venue Hire information Pack. This will be sent via email please make sure to check your spam mail if you have not received it and contact us if you have not received at least a week before your party.

Your hire period is strictly limited to the allocated three hours including set-up and clean-up. Please do not ask to enter the venue early or leave late as this impacts other users (including our cleaners)

If you would like to view the venue prior to your party  please contact us. Our volunteers check the emails every couple of days so please allow time for a response. All enquiries can be sent to earlybirdsplaygroup.events@gmail.com  

• There's a small kitchen with kettle, microwave, coffee cups, plastic cups, cutlery and plates for your use. 
• There are 3 Trestle Tables and 20 chairs for children 
• 3 sofas indoors, 4/5 outdoor benches for adults
• Outdoor BBQ  - Please clean after use
• Toys can be found in the cupboards inside the venue and in the outdoor sheds. Scooters, bikes, duplo, dolls and many more. Please treat with care and return to their home when finished.

The centre needs to be tidied and cleaned, doors locked and aircon turned off  before your session time expires.

A checklist will be included in your party hire information pack once payment is received.

Earlybirds Playgroup is a NUT AWARE venue. Please do not bring food containing nuts to the centre.

Please do not use sticky tape on the painted walls. 

Please use only blu-tac for any decorations.
